Simon Carr | Associate Professor Geography

Simon works within our Institute of Science and Environment and currently teaches geography and environmental science.

 

Simon is willing to speak to the media about:

  • Climate change drivers, impacts and engagement
  • Landscape and environmental change (e.g. glaciers, mountains, coasts)
  • Landscape restoration (peatlands, urban trees, coastal wetlands and salt marshes)
  • Science and society (how science can serve and support the public, public understanding and knowledge of science)
  • Using games to develop environmental understanding
  • The landscape history of the Lake District
