I’m super proud to have seen the University of Cumbria grow and develop over the last 6 years to enable students here in Cumbria and further afield gain essential training and skills to contribute to our economy and communities. As importantly the University is reaching out beyond its boundaries sharing its knowledge and skills and working with others to create impact in areas of nature conservation, national park management and training for farmers and land managers address the nature and climate crises. The University of Cumbria recognises its strategy role while recognising that in partnership we are greater than the sum of our parts.
