North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS FTs (NCIC) relationship with the University is a collaborative, long established and ever growing one.  Through this partnership we directly support and grow Cumbria’s health care system and local economy driven by the needs of our patients and their communities.  This has evolved over time from not only the core programs required to support workforce supply and development in the NHS such as nursing but increasingly reflects evolving areas of advances practice and research, and with the prospect of the partner Cumbria Medical school on the horizon,all supporting the university's ambitious Towards 2030 strategy.
