Discussions included:

  • The Cumbria School of Medicine being developed by the university and Imperial College London
  • University strategic purpose of educating healthcare professionals including nurses, paramedics, midwives, radiographers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists
Ian and Mandy Sinker, pictured on 20 July 2023, at University of Cumbria graduations. The couple has enjoyed a 40-year connection to the university's Lancaster campus, formerly St Martin's College where they met as students and later married on campus with both continuing to work with the campus during their careers.
